‘Rencontres de musicologie médiévale’ I 6th edition in Metz between 12 and 14 January

The sixth edition of the ‘Rencontres de musicologie médiévale’ will be held in Metz (France) between 12 and 14 January 2026. This event is organised annually by the Groupe des médiévistes of the Société française de musicologie (Sfm). Its aim is to stimulate the community of French and French-speaking medievalists in disciplinary, scientific and human terms. These conferences, the first edition of which took place in Paris in June 2021, constitute a forum for exchange between medieval musicologists, researchers in related disciplines and various stakeholders in medieval music and musicology.

The event has the contribution of Océane Boudeau (Early Music Studies Group), who is involved in the organisation and scientific committee.
