Lecture King João VI and music by António Jorge Marques (EMS)

On June 20 the Paço Ducal de Vila Viçosa will open two new exhibition rooms under the theme ‘D. João VI, Portugal and Brazil’, which will now form part of the palace tour. Admission is free, subject to registration by email at: fcb.comunicacao@fcbraganca.pt.

Programme:

• 3.30 pm – Opening of the ‘King João VI, Portugal and Brazil’ galleries;
• 4.30 pm – Lecture ‘King João VI and music’, by António Jorge Marques (Early Music Studies Group);
• 5.00 pm – Concert by the Lisbon Chamber Choir;
• 6.00 pm – Alentejo of Honour in the Jardim das Duquesas.
