Luís M. Santos (CTC) honoured with the “Emerging Scholar Award” from the New Directions in the Humanities Research Network

Luís M. Santos, a researcher at CESEM (Research Group for the Study of Music, Critical Theory and Communication), was awarded the Emerging Scholar Award by the New Directions in the Humanities Research Network, as part of the 24th International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities: Beyond Borders – The Role of the Humanities in Reimagining Communities, held from 1 to 3 July at NOVA FCSH.

The event brought together 137 participants from 43 different countries, taking part in an academic programme organised into five parallel sessions dedicated to different areas of the humanities.
