The 3rd Symposium of CESEM’s Music in the Modern Period Group – a new series brings together the proceedings of the group’s first two symposia, held in 2025 and 2024, respectively. With the aim of including as many researchers from the group as possible who are based outside Lisbon, the MMP’s annual symposium is held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation. This event is primarily aimed at sharing research currently underway within the MMP, in order to foster internal synergies and, equally, to publicise the group’s current academic output to both internal members and those belonging to other groups within CESEM.
