On 6 May at 6.00 pm, at the Gabinete de Estudos Olisiponenses – Palácio do Beau-Séjour in Lisbon, the album featuring the complete keyboard sonatas of Pedro António Avondano will be launched. This event forms part of the ‘Portuguese Keyboard Music in 3D’ project, with harpsichordist and musicologist Mafalda Nejmeddine as scientific and artistic coordinator, and Fouad Nejmeddine as director and producer.

This supported project aims to study, promote and disseminate the keyboard sonatas of three of the most significant Portuguese composers of the second half of the 18th century: Pedro António Avondano, Francisco Xavier Baptista and Alberto José Gomes da Silva.
