Exhibition “Fotografias Musicadas II” by Maria João Cerol
June 8 - June 19
Free

Fourteen images captured in different spaces and moments, seeking a certain balance between forms and colors.
As a kind of “tribute,” the exhibition pays homage to people and/or institutions that have had a lasting impact on Maria João Cerol’s life, both musically and personally.
Each photograph is paired with a “Study” for transverse flute, composed by Amílcar Vasques-Dias, Christopher Bochmann, Eurico Carrapatoso, Jorge Salgueiro, Manuel Pedro Ferreira, Nicholas Jones, Pedro Carimbo, Pedro Serpa, and Vasco Pearce de Azevedo.
The photographs and transverse flute performances are by Maria João Cerol. She also created the textile panels.
