ESMAE and FLUP are hosting a series of four lectures exploring historical and contemporary dialogues between music and literature. The initiative, organised by Ângela da Ponte (CESEM/ESMAE) and Pedro Eiras (ILC/FLUP), brings together researchers from both institutions to discuss topics ranging from Greek lyric poetry to contemporary music.

The cycle culminates on June 12 at 6.00 p.m. with a closing session featuring the musical creation of original texts by Pedro Eiras, Diogo Marques, Elisabete Marques, and Rosa Martelo, performed by the Ensemble Ecco from the ESMAE Composition Course and students from the ESMAE Theatre Course, with musical direction by Dimitris Andrikopoulos and Ângela da Ponte.
