The second session of the RESONANCE project reading club will take place on February 9 and, this time, it will be virtual. One of the chapters of André Lepecki’s book ‘Exhausting Dance: Performance and the Politics of Movement’ will be discussed.

The project seeks to reflect on the documentation and patrimonialisation of historical performative works (theatre, experimental music, dance, or performance art), focusing on the affects that emanate from their production and commemoration, which have, until now, been absent from conservation discourse. Based on the Portuguese case, RESONANCE will contribute to the rethinking of epistemologies, methods, and public policies.
