Victor Hugo Amaro

PhD Student in Philosophy by the Post-Graduation Program of Philosophy of UFPE, Brazil. Did his Masters in Philosophy on the Post-Graduation Program of Philosophy in UFPA, and has a graduation in Philosophy also on UFPA. His Masters disssertation focused on the empirical researches made by Theodor Adorno during the 40s in America. Recently, is doing a research on Theodor W. Adorno aesthetic theory, especially on the problems circulating around his “Promesse du Bonheur”. Has interests in the following fields: Social Philosophy; Cultural Critic; Philosophy of Art and Critical Theory, on the following authors: Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel; Karl Marx; Theodor Adorno; Roberto Schwarz and Walter Benjamin.
