Beatriz Silva/Luzia Rocha – Paper publication

In its most recent issue (v. 22, 2022), Música Hodie includes a paper by researchers Beatriz Silva and Luzia Rocha, entitled “Music and Radio in Maoist China (1949-1976)”. The work provides a preliminary study on the importance of music as a complement to radio broadcasting, considered an important instrument of ideological transfer during Mao Zedong’s rule.
