The Scream and the Falsetto in Poizat and Artaud.
Voice and Physicality.
The human voice is so immense with humanity itself; she belongs to the human race by the same title as all the faculties that nature has given her privilege and is thus part of her unusual talents. This implies that the Voice will be the object of a development according to the creative opportunities of each one. However, its specific nature pays tribute to it being one of the most intangible talents among all, a fluid, abstract matter, capable of attracting adherence and rejection on the part of those who receive it or those who emit it, according to opportunity and taste. Considerations about various uses of Voice in the scope of artistic creation, from the analysis of Michel Poizat on the female characters of some operas such as Salomé de Strauss and Lulu de Berg, from the acute to the falsetto, from the sprechgesang to the scream, with references also significant in Antonin Artaud’s assumptions and particular forms in composers of the 20th and 21st centuries.
