Launch of a book co-authored by Ana Isabel Pereira and Helena Rodrigues (EHD) at a conference in Brussels

On 15 and 16 November, Ana Isabel Pereira and Helena Rodrigues, coordinators of the Education and Human Development Group, took part in the 2nd SenseSquared International Conference ‘An Educations for the Future MANIFESTO’, at the Erasmushogeschool Brussels, as part of the Eramus+ SenseSquared project (KA220-SCH-A78D5745), which will end on December 30. This project involved several European partners (Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal) working on the question ‘How can a sensory approach and an artistic attitude contribute to an education that leads to a more connected and sustainable world?’.

The conference also included the launch of the book Sensory Probes: Essays and exercises for teachers to cultivate artistic attitudes in the classroom, which comprehends the chapter ‘Zooming One Thousand Birds – Online Learning at the Intersection of Aesthetics and Ecology in Companhia de Música Teatral’ by Ana Isabel Pereira, Helena Rodrigues, Paulo Maria Rodrigues, Inês Silva, Gustavo Paixão, Mariana Vences and Rita Roberto.
