Inês Filipe, pianist winner of several awards in national and international piano competitions, including the “Antena2 Award” at the XVII SIPO International Piano Festival, under the eye of a prestigious panel of judges that included Boris Berman, Luiz de Moura Castro, Josep Colom and Paul Badura-skoda. She regularly performs in recitals as a soloist, having performed in numerous countries such as Spain, England, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Thailand, Panama, Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico and Malaysia. Presents a great versatility in terms of choosing and performing piano repertoire, including concert works ranging from Bach to contemporary music. Her interest in modern and contemporary Portuguese music means she plays an active role in promoting it, having already premiered several works by Portuguese composers. Already includes a CD recorded for the renowned DaVinci-Classics label with works for piano solo by Claude Debussy, and another CD dedicated to works by Portuguese composers with Musicamera-Produções label. She attended CMACG, in Professor’s class Patricia Sousa. Graduated in Piano Performance at Conservatorio Stanislao Giacomantonio in Italy, Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, University of Aveiro and Piano Teaching at the University of Minho, having studied with Rodolfo Rubino, Josep Colom, Fausto Neves and Luís Pipa. She is currently attending the PhD program in Cultural Sciences at University of Minho, in collaboration with FCSH Nova University of Lisbon.
