Concert by the students of the Laboratory José Luís Ferreira Mixed Music (CESEM-IPL)
November 24 @ 16:00 - 18:00 WET
FreeThe ‘Culture and Sustainability’ event is co-organised annually by the DME in partnership with CCMAR. With seven editions since 2017 (the year the Lisboa Incomum space opened), the event aims to foster an interdisciplinary discussion (artistic, scientific, political) on the roles that artistic practices can play in raising environmental awareness, intervening in the debate on topics such as sustainability and ecology. This discussion takes place between the public and the event’s guests through different types of activities such as conferences, concerts and workshops.
On the last day of the event, November 24, there will be a concert by the students of the Laboratory José Luís Ferreira Mixed Music (CESEM-IPL). The 4 pm session will feature the following programme: ‘Singularity’ by João Pedro Oliveira, ‘Recycled Classics’ by Fábio Chicotio and António Narciso, ‘Circulares’ by Sergio Kafejian, ‘a musical poem over Spring’ by Vera Carvalho and ‘Healing Spell’ by Larisa Halis.
