Conversas a Meias – for slow listening I Open class with Michael Goldstein and Jorge Graça
March 29 @ 13:30 - 16:00 WET
Free
The second session of Conversas a Meias (March 29, Saturday, 1.30 pm), entitled From birds to words: A comparative approach to the development of communication, includes interventions by Michael Goldstein, Professor in the Department of Psychology at Cornell University (USA), and Jorge Graça, researcher at CESEM (Education and Human Development Group).
Conversas a Meias is a chance to hear points of view full of wholeness but not whole. They are journeys of improvisation: each conversation heralds the next, but no more than that. It is organised in collaboration and sometimes with other partners, and is held at LAMCI-LEC (Laboratory of Music and Communication in Childhood – Laboratory of Scenic Experimentation). In this place, you take off your shoes and walk in slowly in your socks (‘meias’).
Capacity is limited to 30 people. It is possible to attend via zoom. To ensure your attendance or get access to the link, send an e-mail to comunicacaocesem@fcsh.unl.pt.
