Conversas a Meias I Book presentation with João Maria André (author) and Paula Varanda
March 13 @ 18:30 - 19:30 WET
Free
The first session of Conversas a Meias (March 13, Thursday, 6.30 pm) takes as its thematic centre the book Pelos caminhos de Hermes: culturas, educação, hospitalidade e mediação by João Maria André. The philosopher, stage director, poet, writer and Professor at the Faculdade de Letras / Universidade de Coimbra will be in conversation with Paula Varanda, Researcher and Professor at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Conversas a Meias is a chance to hear points of view full of wholeness but not whole. They are journeys of improvisation: each conversation heralds the next, but no more than that. It is organised in collaboration and sometimes with other partners, and is held at LAMCI-LEC (Laboratory of Music and Communication in Childhood – Laboratory of Scenic Experimentation). In this place, you take off your shoes and walk in slowly in your socks (‘meias’).
Capacity is limited to 30 people. To ensure your attendance, send an e-mail to comunicacaocesem@fcsh.unl.pt.
