The first seminar of the Sacred Music project in Évora in the 18th century will take place on the 16th of February, starting at 3 pm in the Church of S. Vicente, associated with the UÉ Pole of the Center for the Study of Sociology and Aesthetics of Music in FCSH / UNL. The event will present the progress of research work in historical musicology, centered on the musical background of the Cathedral of Évora. The different topics covered by each of the stakeholders will help to problematize and confront the first data from the fund, aiming at the narrative reconstruction of the seventeenth-century musical panorama in Évora.
