Biography

PhD student in Musical Science (Historical Musicology) studying the antiphons “in evangelio” for the Sundays of Advent and Sundays after Pentecost, under the supervision of João Pedro d’Alvarenga. Master’s in musical science (Historical Musicology) with research on Kyrie melodies in Portuguese sources up to 1650, under the supervision of Manuel Pedro Ferreira.
Research Fellowship (BI) on the project «Musical exchanges, 1100-1650: The circulation of early music in Europe and overseas in Iberian and Iberian-related sources» (PTDC/EATMMU/105624/2008) from 11/2011 to 12/2012; no projecto «Tratamento de Fundos » (FCSH / CESEM / UID/EAT/00693/2019 / 1 BI – Mestre) from 04/2019 to 06/2021; Research Fellowship (BI) in the project “Tratamento de Fundos Musicais”; and a Research Fellowship (PhD) in the project «Texts and voices lost and found. Recovering, reconstituting, and recreating musical fragments (c. 1100-c.1600)» (PTDC/ART-PER/0902/2020) from 07/2021 to 05/2023. Currently with a Phd grant from FCT.
