Graduated in Music – Degree (UPF), History – Degree (UNIBF); Specialist in Teaching Philosophy and Sociology (UNIBF); Master in Music (UFG); Doctor in History (UPF). Works with subjects such as research methodology, teaching practice, culture and society, cultural laboratory, history of music and art, composition, arrangement, and ensemble practice. Also as an undergraduate and graduate professor at Faculdades Santa Rita – Chapecó, he taught several subjects of a historical and educational nature. He coordinated and taught classes in educational and social projects, in addition to teaching harmony, improvisation, and ensemble practice focused on jazz and Brazilian music. He also worked as an acoustic and electric bass teacher since 2007. He has developed musical works in the artistic world that combine elements of concert music, South American music, Brazilian popular music, and jazz. He completed his musical training in Italy (2011). He attended classes with renowned bassists such as Marcos Machado (USA), Paulo Russo (RJ), Arismar do Espírito Santo (SP), Alexandre Rosa (OSESP), Barry Grenn (USA), Tierry Barbé (FRA), Juan Pablo Navarro (ARG), among others. As a solo artist, he has recorded 6 albums and released numerous singles focusing on instrumental music, in addition to working as a music producer. He has performed in Italy (2018), France (2019), Switzerland (2019), Portugal (2019), Germany (2019), and in several Brazilian capitals. He has collaborated on shows and compositions with several artists of regional music, Brazilian popular music, and jazz. He has researched the field of sound identities with a focus on music produced in the South American environment and its relationships with musical performance and teaching. He has published constantly in journals addressing themes involving music and identity, Brazilian and South American instrumental music, musical performance and teaching, and musical historiography.
