Mariana Sousa Aguiar

Mariana started her musical studies at the age of 10, upon entering the Banda Filarmónica Operária Amorense, having then applied to the Conservatório Regional de Setúbal, where she continued studying flute, with Rita Malão, her teacher. In 2014, she started her degree in Musicology, in order to learn more about musical history and analysis. During this period, she also developed an interest in areas such as cinema, photography and journalism. Currently she’s working on areas such as cinematography, and musical production, influenced by 19th and 20th century music, especially minimalism.
