Marta Pereira

Marta Rodrigues Pereira is a master’s student in Musical Sciences (specializing in historical musicology) at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – New University of Lisbon, where she completed her degree in 2023. Throughout her academic career, she has dedicated herself to research focused on the criticism of sources and on musical production and reception, namely in the study of the concert offer in Lisbon today. She had the opportunity to collaborate on the projects “Catálogo do Fundo Musical do Palácio Nacional de Mafra” and “Música, Media e Públicos em Portugal de 1974 à actualidade” (CESEM). She was a member of the team responsible for the documentary description of manuscripts in the Music collections of the National Library of Portugal. Since September 2023, she has also been vice-president of Associação Crescer (Ser) Casa, responsible for meeting the needs of the Family Support Component service at Escola Básica de Unhos.
