Nuno Prates was born in Alpiarça. He is curator of the Casa dos Patudos – Museu de Alpiarça since 2011. He holds a degree in History (variant of Archeology) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra. He also attended a degree in Art History from the same university. At the University of Évora he obtains post-graduate studies in Museology. At Aberta University he obtains the degree of Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage. He still is a trainer in the field of Didactics of History, by the University of Minho. Master in Management and Valorization of Cultural Heritage. Professor of History, researcher in local and regional history and musical iconography.
