The CESEM had 3 funded projects in the FCT Contest – IC&DT 2021 Projects:

• Music paper and handwriting studies in Portugal (18th and 19th centuries): the case study of the collection of the Count of Redondo by researcher António Jorge Marques with the reference EXPL/ART-PER/0749/2021.
• The Musical Manuscripts from the Monastery of Bethlehem: the Exploration of an Unknown Hieronymite Tradition by researcher Océane Boudeau with the reference EXPL/ART-PER/1031/2021.
• (as participating institution): Magic Lantern – Study, Safeguard, Uses and Reuses in 19th-Century Portugal with IP: Márcia Gomes Vilarigues and co-IP: Luísa Cymbron, reference PTDC/ART-PER/1702/2021.
