Workshop ‘Brazilian Soul: Influences of Afro-Brazilian rhythms on artistic and pedagogical processes’

Free‘Brazilian Soul’ (“Alma Brasileira”) is a practical and theoretical workshop that brings together the Handpan percussion instrument, Afro-Brazilian rhythms and the experience of the artistic and pedagogical processes of the Afro Bumbo project realised in communities on peripheral communities of São Paulo, with the aim of promoting a reflective experience on the creative, social and pedagogical aspects of the musical educational process.
This workshop, organised by Cecília Valentim and Ana Isabel Pereira, from the Education and Human Development Group, is free to attend.
