Edison Verbisck

PhD student in Music and Musicology at the University of Évora. He holds a Master’s degree in Music in Interpretation (Violin) from the University of Évora (2012). He has played as a violinist in orchestras in Portugal and Brazil, such as the Algarve Orchestra, the Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Academy Classical Orchestra (Portugal), the Pantanal Chamber Orchestra, the Mato Grosso do Sul Classical Orchestra, and the Campo Grande Municipal Symphony Orchestra (Brazil). He has taught violin at the Portimão Conservatory, the Sines Arts Centre, and the Lagos Music Academy (Portugal). He is currently an assistant professor of violin at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul.
