Gabriela Marramaque studied Electronic Music Production in ETIC, in 2017, and is presently pursuing further higher education in Music Technologies at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa.
Their artistic experience is varied and multidisciplinary, spawning live entertainment, both as a freelance and as part of animation teams in luxury resorts, a participation on The Voice Portugal in 2014, and the adicional cast of the series “Água de Mar” (RTP). They have also collaborated in the co-creation of the sound design of a performance piece presented by Daniel Cardoso and Telma João Santos at Culturgest in 2019. Besides being an artist, Gabriela Marramaque also has experience in audio production and editing, having been part of Ergonoise where they recorded voiceovers, done sound design and audio post production until 2019.
There they acquired experience in institutional and commercial advertising for television, Internet and radio, having developed projects for brands such as Unilever or NOS and institutions such as Sociedade Ponto Verde. They were on the audio team behind the short animation “Don’t Feed These Animals” produced by Nebula Studios. They were also part of the team developing the audio branding identity for the online radio channel from Observador. On the videogame world, their collaboration in “Company”, an interactive audiovisual experience created at the 2019 Global Game Jam, earned them an honorable mention on Itch.io. They’re presently involved in several academic projects both in artistic creation and research at CESEM.
