Biography

Leonardo Feichas has a bachelor’s degree in music/violin (2010), a master’s degree (2013) and a doctorate in music (2021) from UNICAMP and a doctorate in Musical Arts (2021) from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (UNL). He participated in orchestras in the state of São Paulo and performed concerts in countries in Europe and the Americas. He is currently a professor of violin at the University of Brasília (UnB). As a violinist, he has an intense activity as an orchestral musician, solo violinist and chamber musician. As a researcher, his research themes include the Brazilian composer Flausino Valle (1894-1954) and the emerging field of Artistic Research. He is one of the creators of the Flausino Valle String Meeting.
