Abstract

GerminArte aims to provide professional caregivers, students, and family members with more effective means to interact with babies and infants through music. The GermInArte project fosters a holistic perspective, to reach various social realms, whose direct or indirect influence can shape favourable childhood development. The GermInArte project promotes positive social and human development since early childhood. GermInArte combines theoretical research and empirical work. It also promotes events aimed at the general public and for specific audiences. Within the context of events for specific audiences, the GermInArte project offers training and practical experience to educators, musicians, and other artists who wish to use music in their interactions with babies and young children, from newborns to age six. The courses can be either Immersive Training or Transitive Training.
