CESEM researcher awarded: Luís Miguel Santos
Luís Miguel Santos, CESEM Researcher, wins the first edition of a competition promoted by the Portuguese Society for Research in Music.
“About the concert program of the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pedro Blanch (1911-1928)” is the title of the communication by Luís Miguel Santos, PhD student in Historical Musical Sciences and researcher at CESEM, winner of the Joaquim Vasconcelos Award. The award, instituted by the Portuguese Society for Research in Music (SPIM), aims to distinguish the best communication presented at the National Meeting for Research in Music by a student before the conclusion of the PhD.
The prize, worth 400 euros, was awarded at the opening of the National Music Research Meeting (ENIM 2017), which took place in November at the University of Minho.
The jury was composed by António Sousa Dias, Maria José Artiaga, Mário Vieira de Carvalho, Ricardo Tacuchian and Susana Sardo.
