Critical Space for New Music

The Critical Space for New Music is an initiative by Miso Music Portugal and the Portuguese Music Research & Information Center. It is a forum for free and open criticism, in which broad and deep opinions, firm opinions and different tastes about new trends in music can be confronted in a broad and profound way. It is a place dedicated, on the one hand, to aesthetics and multiple expressions, creation phenomena, musical narratives, performances / concerts / shows of current art music, on the other hand, to its relationship with other artistic areas, such as visual arts, dance , architecture, literature, new technologies, psychology and sociology. Our aim is to open a lively discussion and reintegrate contemporary music with other forms of art and disciplines of human activity.
