8th edition of the FCT Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus I Applications hosted by CESEM until December 14
The FCT, I.P. has announced the opening of the 8th edition of the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus. The objective is to conclude 400 (four hundred) scientific employment contracts for researchers at the start of their careers, for three years, in positions in the junior and assistant categories. The application period will run from December 15, 2025, to January 29, 2026.
CESEM will accept to be the host institution for applications that fall within the scope of its research areas. Interested candidates should submit their application by December 14 to cesem@fcsh.unl.pt, sending the following documents and information:
- Level applied for (Junior or Assistant).
- Host institution (NOVA FCSH; University of Évora, ESML, or ESMAE);
- Summary of work plan (in English; max. 5000 characters);
- Detailed curriculum vitae;
- Motivation letter describing your scientific career over the last five years and explaining the relevance of your achievements (max. 5000 characters);

On December 16, at 11.30 a.m., CESEM will organise a support online session for interested candidates with the participation of the Research Group Coordinators and other researchers. The link to the session will be available soon.
