Carlos Azevedo (CM) wins DSCH – Schostakovich Ensemble Composition Prize

Carlos Azevedo is the winner of the DSCH – Schostakovich Ensemble 2025 Composition Prize, an award given by one of today’s most prestigious chamber music ensembles.

In addition to being a composer and professor at the School of Music and Performing Arts (ESMAE), Carlos Azevedo is a collaborator in the Research Group on Contemporary Music.
