The exhibition Who sings prays twice: the Music at the Monastery of São Bento da Avé-Maria in Porto is one of the initiatives of the AVEMUS project – Music in concertato style at the Monastery of São Bento da Avé-Maria in Porto (1775-1829).

Funded by the FCT and carried out within the institutional framework of CESEM – FCSH, UNL, this thematic exhibition is curated by Ana Maria Liberal.

São Bento Station, which now hosts this exhibition, was built where the monastery once stood.
