The session “Methodologies and resources for teaching music to the blind” will take place next Friday, March 3, at 2 pm, at Amphitheater A 224 of Colégio Almada Negreiros. The event includes presentations by Dídia Lourenço (Associação Bengala Mágica), Rui M. Pinto (CESEM), Catarina Braga (CESEM) and Luís Barreira (ITI/LARsys-IST), on the Filarmónica Enarmonia project of the Associação Bengala Mágica (PARTIS) ; and Angela Pino (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), on the musical and pedagogical practices developed in Spain for this community. This session is held within the scope of the Laboratory “Accessibility of the Visually Impaired Community to Artistic Practices”, a Joint Learning and Circulation Initiative promoted by Bengala Mágica and Teatrão and financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and La Caixa Foundation.
