Filipe Campello is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), where he coordinates the Center for Ethics and Political Philosophy (NEFIPE-UFPE). He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Frankfurt (2013) and has been a visiting researcher at The New School for Social Research (New York), where he received the Fulbright Junior Faculty Member Award, as well as at the Universities of Perugia, Bergen, and Duisburg. He also works as a curator in the field of visual arts, developing projects at the intersection of art, philosophy, and technology. He is the author of Die Natur der Sittlichkeit: Grundlagen einer Theorie der Institutionen nach Hegel (Transcript, 2015), coauthor of Modernizações Ambivalentes: Perspectivas Interdisciplinares e Transnacionais (Edufpe, 2016), and Crítica dos Afetos (Autêntica, 2022).
