Siméia Rêgo de Oliveira

Siméia Rêgo de Oliveira is a doctoral student in Media Studies at PPGEM/UFRN. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communication, both from the Federal University of Paraíba – Decom/PPGC/UFPB. She also has a specialization in Digital Marketing and Social Media from Ser/Uninassau. She is a member of the GEMINI research group – Media Studies Group: Analyses and Research in Culture, Processes and Media Products – linked to the Postgraduate Program in Media Studies – PPgEM/UFRN – an extension project that promotes dialogue between undergraduate and graduate students, professors and researchers by holding seminars and proposing discussions on topics in the field of communication, as well as presenting ongoing and completed research. Her research interests include ciberculture, especially interactions, anonymity and fake profiles on digital networks.
