Jorge Peixinho’s Chamber Music – Critical Edition

Jorge Peixinho is, perhaps, the most impressing composer of the second half of the 20th century in Portugal. Composer, pianist, lecturer, organizer of different musical events, teacher, director, a political and social engaged personality, he was the face of avant-garde music and the main protagonist of the transformations that occurred in the music milieu in the sixties and seventies. The lack of edited critical scores has created many difficulties, being an example of negligence of the Portuguese artistic heritage.
