RCAAP Releases Science – because a picture is worth a thousand words
Access to information and knowledge is essential for the progress of teaching and research, but also for the sustainable development of society. Worldwide, authors, researchers, institutions and funding agencies have recognized that research work is incomplete if its results do not reach a wider audience – including small businesses, science journalists, professionals and the general public. The Open Access movement seeks to make research results accessible for free and online, through institutional repositories, open access magazines and websites.
