Music in Childhood Postgraduate Course I Applications close on July 19

The Music in Childhood Postgraduate Course applications are open until July 19. The two-semester course, coordinated by the researchers Helena Rodrigues and Ana Isabel Pereira, will occur on Fridays (6 to 9 pm) and Saturdays (1 to 7h30 pm).

The design of this course reflects the choice of “immersive experiences” in a vision centred on the formation of “clusters” in terms of scientific content (that integrates intervention and research) and the target audience. Thus, instead of focusing the training on the preparations of individuals, the aim is the coexistence of people with different professional profiles in the same training space. The intention is to establish cooperative attitudes that facilitate desirable “networked” actions.

The Postgraduate programme is for professionals who wish to acquire specific training to work in educational and/or artistic contexts with children from zero to five years old. It is also for professionals who want to improve their human interaction with children in this age group using musical resources. A valid application will require proof of a degree and/or a recognised, relevant, and suitable academic, scientific, or professional curriculum.
