‘Rencontres de musicologie médiévale VII’ I Proposals until June 30

The seventh edition of the ‘Rencontres de musicologie médiévale’ will be held in Dijon (France) between 6 and 8 January 2027. The event has the contribution of Océane Boudeau (Early Music Studies Group), who is involved in the organisation and scientific committee.

The “Rencontres de musicologie médiévale” respond to a desire to inject a dynamic — both disciplinary and human — into the community of medievalists. These meetings provide a forum for exchange between medieval musicologists, researchers from related disciplines, and various stakeholders in medieval music and musicology. They offer an opportunity to share completed works, ongoing research, and scientific, artistic and educational projects. In addition, there is a focus on disciplinary reflection on research, teaching and the dissemination of medieval music, conducted through short presentations, round tables, posters and workshops.
