Brepols publishes book coordinated by João Pedro d’Alvarenga, Manuel Pedro Ferreira and Alberto Medina de Seiça (Lost & Found)

Brepols has just published the work “Fragmenta Musicae. Contemporary Perspectives”. The book is one of the most significant results of the Lost & Found research project carried out by CESEM between 2021 and 2024 with funding from FCT (PTDC/ART-PER/0902/2020; https://doi.org/10.54499/PTDC/ART-PER/0902/2020).

Coordinated by João Pedro d’Alvarenga, Manuel Pedro Ferreira and Alberto Medina de Seiça, the work contains twenty studies on fragmentology written by experts from various universities and research centres: University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Oslo, Istituto Storico Germanico (Rome), Dalhousie University (Halifax), McGill University (Montreal), Institute of Musicology (Budapest), University of Pavia, Lisbon School of Music, University of Coimbra, ESMAE – Lisbon School of Music and Performing Arts, and NOVA University Lisbon, including a significant number of researchers from CESEM: Océane Boudeau, Andrew Woolley, João Vaz, Nuno de Mendonça Raimundo, Giulio Minniti, Manuel Pedro Ferreira, André Ferreira, João Pedro d’Alvarenga, Diogo Alte da Veiga, Kristin Hoefener, Bernadette Nelson and Alberto Medina de Seiça.
