On September 28, at 9:45 pm, the “white” monks return to the Monastery of St. John of Tarouca, in a historical recreation that recovers an ancient Cistercian rite of medieval origin, linked to the celebration of St. Bernard of Claraval.

IN NATALI SANCTI BERNARDI ABBATIS. AD VESPERAS, the first hour on the Vespers of the St. Bernard Feast, will be sung by the male choir Vozes Bernardinas, under the artistic direction of Professor Manuel Pedro Ferreira, researcher and director of CESEM – Center for Studies of Sociology and Aesthetics of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon.
