NOVA FCSH is holding its second Research and Innovation Day on October 22, focused on the theme ‘Climate and Society’. The event, which brings together researchers, students and professionals at Colégio Almada Negreiros, aims to provide a privileged space for the exchange of ideas and debate.

The day will include various lectures (including ‘Citizen Science at the Service of Research – Examples and Good Practices’ with CESEM researcher Maria Eduarda Carvalho), round tables, presentations of research carried out at NOVA FCSH and networking moments. One of the goals is to strengthen collaborative networks between the Faculty’s various research units, encouraging scientific partnerships for future projects.

CESEM’s stand will be on the first floor, with its activities spread over four time blocks:

• 10h00-11h30: Presentation of the MAGICA project (by Maria Sempiterno and Joana Peliz);
• 11h30-13h00: Guided tour of the National Music Museum’s objects catalogued in IconoMus (by André Apolinário Correia);
• 14h00-15h30: Exhibition of the work ‘Microanalysis of musical behaviour in artistic creations for children’ (by Sofia Bôrras);
• 15h30-17h00: Presentation of work carried out at the National Library of Portugal (by Zuelma Chaves and António Jorge Marques).

In addition to these activities, the researcher Manuel Pedro Ferreira will give a presentation about the ECHOES project in the Fencing Room at 4 pm.
