As a result of a research work developed in her PhD, pianist Joana Gama is now releasing the album “Travels in my Homeland” by Grand Piano Records, with the cycles “Viagens na Minha Terra” by Fernando Lopes-Graça and “Lume de suelo” by Amílcar Vasques-Dias. As a complement, it will be launched the first edition of the two scores, made in collaboration with the MPMP Patrimonial Movement for Portuguese Music. The releases will take place between 10 and 13 May in Braga, Lisbon, Monte Estoril and Évora and will feature Teresa Cascudo, author of the text included in the album, Amílcar Vasques-Dias, and Joana Gama.
