The Audio Preservation and Restoration Laboratory (LaPRA), established in the context of the IN2PAST Associated Lab, is a state-of-the-art infrastructure for the preservation and restoration of old audio supports and the recovery of the documents recorded on them. LaPRA currently has the technical and technological capacity to carry out all the specialized treatments necessary for the recovery of magnetic audio tapes and plans to soon expand its treatment capabilities to other types of supports and their respective documents. Additionally, LaPRA has the capability to digitize manuscripts and their documentation. LaPRA offers its laboratory capabilities to the community through collaboration on projects and the provision of services.
