Laboratory of Palaeography and Music Editing (LAPEM)
Coordinator: Andrew Woolley
The Laboratory of Palaeography and Music Editing (LAPEM) is the logistical and technological infrastructure that supports the thematic line of Palaeography and Music Editing. It has modern equipment for digital photography, reading, and digitising microfilm, and hardware and software for manipulating and processing images. It supports projects involving music publishing, the development of databases, and the digitisation of manuscripts and printed sources, particularly helping to feed the Portuguese Early Music Database (PEM).
