Biography

Musician and researcher, PhD candidate in Philosophy at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), in the research line Subjectivity, Art, and Culture, supported by a CAPES scholarship. Holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies (area: Philosophy) from the University of São Paulo (USP), in the research line Culture, Politics, and Identities. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Universidade Metropolitana de Santos (2015) and a specialization in Higher Education Teaching from Faculdade Metropolitanas Unidas (2018). Served as a volunteer collaborator at the Historical and Cultural Archive of the ABC Region (Federal University of ABC) during the 2021 academic year. Author of the book Banda Larga Cordel: Culture and Technologies in the Trajectory of Gilberto Gil (Letra e Voz Publishing, 2025), and recipient of the Philosophy of Music Award at the 3rd Congress of Aesthetics and Critical Theory, held by the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), in 2024. Member of the Research Group on Modernity and Cultural History, affiliated with the Graduate Program in Philosophy at UNIFESP. Has experience in the fields of Arts, Education, and Culture, with an emphasis on Popular Music, focusing mainly on the following topics: culture and technological mediation; popular music and cultural criticism; Brazilian culture and philosophy; aesthetics and art history.
