João Proença is a dedicated sound technician from Portugal who began exploring sound at the age of 11. As a self-taught professional, he has gained valuable experience in live sound applications. Since turning 18, João has worked as a freelancer, contributing to various projects within the industry, particularly in Portugal’s techno scene.

In addition to his work in nightlife, João has supported corporate events and conferences, collaborating with officials in the Portuguese government to ensure quality audio. His ability to adapt to different environments and audiences reflects his commitment to providing reliable sound services.

Currently, João is furthering his studies in Music Technologies at ESML, where he is expanding his knowledge of sound systems and technology. His experience ranges from small club performances to larger corporate functions, and he is dedicated to creating enjoyable auditory experiences for all. With a strong foundation in sound and an attentive ear, João aims to contribute positively to the sound landscape in Portugal.
