Catalogue of the Music Archive of the Museum-Library of the House of Braganza

The Music Archive of the Museum-Library of the House of Braganza, given its scale, variety and the period that it covers, constitutes a collection of immense musical and musicological importance both nationally and internationally. Through a partnership involving the Fundação da Casa de Bragança (FCB) and the Centre for the Study of the Sociology and Aesthetics of Music (CESEM, NOVA FCSH), a project has been set up with a view, on the one hand, to cataloguing the several thousand manuscripts and printed sources in the Archive and, on the other, to making them better known through scientific and artistic events, as well as related publications.
