The third cinema session of the 5ªs-metragens cycle, with the movie Grand Piano (2013), will be presented by Júlia Durand. This thriller about a pianist (who is threatened by a hidden shooter should he fail a single note during a concert) raises interesting questions about the representation of professional musicians in fiction films, as well as about composition for cinema and the diegetic / non-diegetic music duality.
